Our tours are smaller than a small group tour: each one is private to your own party, so you never share the vehicle with strangers. Every tour takes a maximum of four guests, and the price is for the whole vehicle whether one of you travels or four. With one day, the Highlands & Loch Ness tour shows the most variety: Rannoch Moor, Glencoe, Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle in about 12 hours. Can Loch Ness or the Isle of Skye be done as a day trip from Edinburgh?
Loch Ness, yes: it is about 3.5 to 4 hours each way, so our Highlands & Loch Ness tour is a full 12-hour day with stops at Glencoe on the way. The Isle of Skye, no: it is around five hours each way, which leaves too little time on the island. We recommend two or three days for Skye on a multi-day tour.
Can you organise guided trips to Scotland for overseas visitors?
Yes. Tell us your arrival airport and dates, and we will suggest the right mix of day tours from an Edinburgh base, a multi-day tour or a bespoke trip with accommodation arranged. We can meet you at Edinburgh or Glasgow Airport, and every price is confirmed in writing before you book.
